What Is A Model Airplane Composed Of?

Model aircraft, like manned aircraft, mainly consists of five parts: wings, tail wings, fuselage, landing gear, and engine.
1. Wing - is a device that generates lift during flight of a model aircraft and can maintain lateral stability during flight.
2. Tail - includes two parts: horizontal tail and vertical tail. The horizontal tail can maintain the pitch stability of the model aircraft during flight, while the vertical tail maintains the directional stability of the model aircraft during flight. The elevator on the horizontal tail can control the lifting and lowering of the model aircraft, while the rudder on the vertical tail can control the flight direction of the model aircraft.
3. Body - The main part that connects the various parts of the model into a whole is called the body. At the same time, the fuselage can be loaded with necessary control components, equipment, and fuel.
4. Landing gear - a device used for takeoff, landing, and parking of model aircraft. One landing gear at the front and three landing gears at the back are called the front three point type; There are three landing gears on both sides of the front, and the rear landing gear is called the rear three point type.
5. Engine - It is a device that generates flight power for a model aircraft. The commonly used power devices for model aircraft include rubber bands, piston engines, jet engines, and electric motors.
