Common causes of injector failure

 

As an important part of the automobile engine, the normal operation of the injector is crucial to the performance and efficiency of the engine. However, various failures may occur during the use of the injector, which are often caused by a variety of reasons. The following are some common causes of injector failure:

1. Substandard fuel quality or impure mixed fuel
- Impurities and contaminants in poor quality fuel may cause the injector to clog, affecting its normal operation.

2. Damaged induction coil in the injector
- The induction coil is an important part of the injector. If damaged, it will not be able to accurately transmit the control signal, causing the injector to work abnormally.

3. Wear of internal components of the injector
- Long-term use or poor working conditions may cause wear of the internal components of the injector, thereby affecting its performance.

4. Failure of the electronic control module
- The electronic control module is responsible for controlling the operation of the injector. If a failure occurs, it will directly affect the normal operation of the injector.

5. Injector oil leakage or nozzle clogging
- Oil leakage or nozzle clogging will cause poor fuel injection and affect the combustion efficiency of the engine.

6. Abnormal fuel supply pressure
- Too high or too low fuel supply pressure will affect the injection effect of the injector, resulting in reduced engine performance.

7. Loose or damaged injector connection parts
- Loose or damaged connection parts will lead to unstable fuel injection and affect the normal operation of the engine.

8. Poor injector atomization
- Problems such as low injection pressure, wear or carbon deposition of the injector nozzle hole will lead to poor injector atomization, which will in turn affect the power and emissions of the engine.

9. Needle valve stuck
- Water or acidic substances in diesel may cause the needle valve to rust and get stuck, affecting the normal operation of the injector.

10. Injector dripping
- When the injector is working, the sealing cone surface of the needle valve body will be strongly impacted, resulting in wear or spots, which will cause oil dripping.

11. Excessive oil return
- Severe wear of the needle valve parts or loose fit between the needle valve body and the injector housing will increase the amount of oil return and affect engine performance.
